Verify your domain

Domain verification proves you control DNS so NovaMX can publish mail security records and optional services without moving your website or nameservers.

When verification is needed

Verification is required before MailControl, SPF flattening, Managed DMARC, DMARC Reports, BIMI add-ons, or Website monitoring on a domain you only manage through NovaMX for mail security. Registering or transferring the domain to NovaMX also verifies ownership as part of onboarding.

Create your account

Register at my.novamx.eu with your contact details. You can add domains to the account before or after verification; mail security orders stay pending until the TXT record is confirmed.

Publish _novamx-verify

  1. Add the domain in My NovaMX and open verification instructions.
  2. Create the _novamx-verify TXT record at your DNS host with the exact value shown in the portal.
  3. Click verify in the portal and wait for DNS propagation (minutes to a few hours).
  4. Order MailControl, DNS-only services, or mail packages without moving web hosting if your website stays elsewhere.

Common mistakes

Typo in the TXT name or value. Publishing the record on the wrong subdomain when the portal expects the apex. Removing the TXT immediately after verification (safe to remove only when the portal says so). Trying to order paid mail security before verification completes.

When you are stuck

Use an external DNS lookup tool to confirm the TXT is visible. Read Help articles on domain verification. Open Messages with the domain name and registrar if verification still fails after propagation.
