CDN
Faster websites, managed from My NovaMX.
NovaMX CDN uses the Europe region by default. Other regions are added only when you ask, in My NovaMX. HTTPS on your hostname and cache purge after updates are included.
Features
Built for production traffic.
- Europe region by default. Other regions only when you ask, in My NovaMX
- HTTPS on your hostname with guided DNS steps
- One-click cache purge after deployments
- Shared monthly traffic across all domains on your account
- Managed from a dedicated CDN page in My NovaMX
- Usage overview per domain and region in the portal
How it works
From package to faster pages
CDN sits in front of your website hostname. Visitors hit a nearby edge cache first. Origin traffic drops for static assets, and My NovaMX shows usage so you stay in control of monthly egress.
- Choose Business, Multi Domain, Enterprise, or add CDN Accelerator from Packages and billing.
- NovaMX creates the CDN hostname and shows the CNAME target in My NovaMX.
- Point www (or another hostname) with a CNAME, then wait for DNS and HTTPS to finish.
- After a deploy, purge the cache from the CDN page so visitors see the new files.
Scope
What CDN covers, and what it does not
NovaMX CDN speeds up delivery of cached content. It is not a WAF product and not a DDoS scrubbing service. For application security controls, keep hardening on the origin and follow the guides for headers and DNS.
- Edge caching for website assets and pages that are safe to cache
- HTTPS on your CDN hostname with portal-guided DNS
- Shared monthly egress across domains on the same account
- Not a substitute for application firewalls or volumetric attack mitigation
Traffic
Shared traffic, all domains
NovaMX CDN is billed on egress traffic (data delivered to visitors), not on the number of domains. Once CDN is active on your account, every domain can use the same monthly traffic pool.
- Business: included monthly traffic
- Multi Domain: included monthly traffic
- Enterprise: included monthly traffic
- CDN add-on or CDN Accelerator: usage-based billing
Traffic beyond your included volume (or all standalone CDN traffic) is billed per GB at regional rates for your package.
Overage
Regional rates per GB

|---|---|---|---|
| Europe (default) / North America | €0.014 | €0.012 | €0.015 |
| Asia / Oceania | €0.042 | €0.036 | €0.045 |

FAQ
CDN questions
Which packages include CDN?
Business, Multi Domain and Enterprise include monthly CDN traffic shared across all domains on your account. Web Basic and Mail Basic customers can add CDN Accelerator from Packages & billing (usage-based with a EUR 1.00 monthly minimum when there is usage).
Do I need to change DNS?
Yes. After NovaMX creates your CDN resource, point a CNAME from your hostname (for example www) to the CDN hostname shown in the portal.
How is CDN traffic measured?
We measure egress traffic delivered from the CDN to your visitors. The portal shows monthly usage for your account, per domain, and per region where available.
Is CDN Europe-only or global?
CDN uses the Europe region by default. Other regions are added only when you ask, in My NovaMX.
