Guide

One EU account for domain, hosting and mail

This guide helps you decide whether one My NovaMX account for domain, DNS, hosting, business email and MailControl is the right buy, and how to get started.

What one account covers

Under one Dutch company you can register or transfer domains, run DNS with DNSSEC, host the website, use business email, and add MailControl for DMARC, SPF flattening, BIMI and related transport policy. Invoices, status and DNS changes stay in the same portal instead of four vendor logins.

When yes

Choose the full stack when you want European jurisdiction on the customer journey, aligned MX and SPF with the same DNS, and fewer silent breaks when someone updates a record. It also fits organisations that prefer one contract and one support path for domain through mail authentication.

When no

NovaMX is not a global edge WAF or volumetric DDoS scrubbing product. If you need enterprise anycast application firewall or large-scale attack mitigation as a standalone service, use a specialist edge provider alongside (or instead of) NovaMX for that layer. You can still use MailControl alone while the site stays elsewhere.

Practical buying order

  1. List what you need now: domain only, DNS, hosting, mailboxes, MailControl, or the full set.
  2. Check packages and Pricing on novamx.eu, and run the free mail or SPF checks on the tools page for your current domain.
  3. Read the European platform and CLOUD Act DNS guides so scope and jurisdiction expectations are clear.
  4. Create a My NovaMX account with that list in mind, or Contact us if you want a walkthrough for your organisation.

Frequently asked questions

Must I buy hosting to use MailControl?

No. You can verify a domain and run MailControl while the website stays on another host. The full stack is optional when you want domain, DNS, site and mail under one account.

Is NovaMX a WAF or DDoS product?

No. NovaMX focuses on domain, DNS, hosting, email and mail authentication on European infrastructure. Enterprise edge WAF and volumetric DDoS mitigation are a different product class.

Why prefer one EU provider?

When DNS, MX and SPF live at different vendors, small changes break mail or certificates quietly. One account keeps records and invoices together and supports AVG/GDPR expectations on the customer journey. See also the CLOUD Act DNS guide.
